Hottest 100 Top 5 Band Announces Tanks Arts Centre Show

Fresh off pipping the #4 spot in the 2025 triple J Hottest 100, Melbourne bogan-funk band, Playlunch, have just announced their Sex Ed Regional Tour, following a completely sold-out national headline tour. The band will bring the tour to Tanks Arts Centre on Friday 22 May.

Playlunch are riding the huge success of their sophomore album Sex Ed (ABC Music), which debuted at #7 on the ARIA Australian Artist Charts, cracked the Top 5 physical sales, landed a triple j Like A Version and scored two J Award nominations.

Their viral single ‘Keith’ placed at #4 in the 2025 triple j Hottest 100, cementing Playlunch as one of Australia’s most exciting live acts.

Blending funk, pop and distinctly Aussie storytelling, their songs tap into Blue Light Discos, school athletics days and daytime TV sickies, all delivered with hooks made for shouting back at the stage.
