Harry James Angus & Friends brings together some of the country’s most creative voices for a one-off night of collaboration and reinvention.

Reimagined works from Harry James Angus meet the original sounds of Izy, Waari, OjiAji, Maru Elias, Jamahl Yami, Kale Bardi and Los Caracoles — a flowing mix of jazz, hip hop and Latin folk. The result is a living, breathing performance that fuses rhythm, improvisation and storytelling into something unmistakably alive.

Best known as a founding member of The Cat Empire, Harry James Angus has spent a lifetime chasing stories through music. From his early days in Melbourne’s jazz scene to two decades of international touring, he’s built a career on curiosity, connection and craft.

Now, joined by drummer Freyja Hooper and a cast of special guests, Angus dives back into creation with songs that speak to the moment — raw, spirited and deeply human.
