On Saturday, 5 July 2025, the leafy Cairns suburb will transform into a humming hive of harmony with Live & Local: Stratford Sounds – a FREE, all-ages music trail that’s basically Coachella… if Coachella served cold brew and gin.

Brought to life by Cairns Regional Council (your local legends of community goodness), in cahoots with Music Australia, Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, this one-day sonic spectacular will see Stratford’s shops, bars, cafés, barbershops, and distilleries turned into mini music venues. Who needs Spotify when you’ve got Stratford?

Expect acoustic crooners, indie darlings, country twangers, and fresh local talent serenading you as you sip, stroll, and snack your way through the day. From brekkie beats to sundown strums, it’s music made for foot-tapping and local business-boosting.
