Drunk Mums –
the original proponents of 21st Century Australian Pub Music. Originally formed in Cairns (before migrating to Melbourne), Drunkies have released 3 LP’s, 3 EP’s, clocked over 30 million streams on Spotify and Apple music, and toured nationally and internationally in over 5 countries. Without Drunk Mums there is no Amyl or Chats. They are the forefathers and they are still rocking and making great albums. Keeen.
Boing Boing – meat and potatoes rock n roll group from way up in the far north that write songs inspired by the characters and lifestyle of Northern Australia and the landscape that shapes them. Fresh off an NQ run with childhood heroes Jet, the boys are in form and ready for a bigun.
DVD – drawing influence from Australian punk and dolewave to create something raw and dynamic, DVD are fresh on the Bris/Melb scene but already rolling landing support slots for some of Australia’s finest incl.; Floodlights, Radium Dolls, and Full Flower Moon Band. They have played a few times up north at BMUP and have got a taste for it.
Whoodafunkit – Live looping Sax, drums, guitar, vocals and electronics.
Originating in Melbourne but drawn to the allure of the Promised Land they are now a Cairns band through and through. They’ve been missing in action for the last few years but stoked to have them reuniting for this show.
JB Paterson – Australian folk singer-songwriter and producer. Known as the ‘Bobby D from Logan-Lea’,’ JB is known for his DIY approach and lyric-driven music. Performing now with his life partner Rebecca Cunningham on the Banjo, this duo exudes wholesome class.
His latest album ‘The Worlds Gone Mad and so Have I’ is a contemporary oz folk classic check it out!
Candice Bliss – Cairns-based singer-songwriter known for her soulful vocals and emotive, acoustic-driven sound. Blending folk, blues, and indie influences, she delivers raw, heartfelt songs that have earned her a strong following across the Far North Queensland live music scene.
