Australia’s original Oz-Blues legends, Chain, bring 57 years of blues mastery to Tanks Arts Centre on Saturday 25 October.

The only Aussie blues band to hit number one (Black’n’Blue) and number two (Judgement) on the national charts, Chain also backed Matt Taylor’s classic I Remember When I Was Young, another chart-topper. Their landmark album Toward The Blues remains one of the longest continuously released albums in Australian rock history, earning double gold status.

With honours including the ‘Chain Awards’ at the Australian Blues Festival and recognition as the first act listed in Screensound’s National Archives blues section, Chain’s legacy is cemented in Australian music history.

Founding guitarist Phil Manning and frontman Matt Taylor, alongside a powerhouse rhythm section, continue to deliver electrifying live shows. After more than five decades, Chain remains Australia’s definitive blues band — raw, authentic, and utterly unmissable.
