Born in New Orleans and raised in Louisiana, Eugene’s musical roots run deep — from gospel beginnings with his brothers, to R&B with The Five Stars, to fronting his own acclaimed band. With a blues guitarist father and a family connection to Tina Turner, music has always been in his blood.

Since releasing his debut album Born To Be Blue in 1998, Eugene has toured the world, lighting up stages across the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, with a string of award-nominated albums and unforgettable live performances.
