FELICITY URQUHART AND BRAD BUTCHER

New Harmony Tour 2019

2019 has brought about one of the most exciting collaborations in Australian country music, as Felicity Urquhart and Brad Butcher team up to hit the road on the New Harmony Tour with a series of shows in Queensland throughout September and October. Felicity and Brad kicked off the year with their first initial one-off show together during the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January. It was so well received, the duo quickly decided to book in more dates for Newcastle, Victoria and regional NSW with their ever-growing audience of fans eagerly embracing this very special live show.

Felicity Urquhart has long been one of the best-loved and most decorated singer-songwriters on the Australian music scene. In a career encompassing seven studio albums she has netted eight Golden Guitars, an ARIA Award nomination for Best Country Album and four CMAA (Country Music Association of Australia) Australian Country Music Achiever Awards.
A constant presence on Australian screens and airwaves, Felicity is a presenter on Channel 7’s Sydney Weekender, and has been the host of ABC Radio’s flagship national country music program Saturday Night Country since 2010.

With the release of her stunning seventh studio album “Frozen Rabbit”, Felicity is set to add another unforgettable chapter to her incredible story to date. “Frozen Rabbit” is Felicity’s first stand-alone album release in over a decade, and her first since signing a new record deal with ABC Music.

Queenslander Brad Butcher took home his first ever Golden Guitar Award as the 2018 QANTASLINK New Talent of the Year for the first single “Well Dressed Man”, taken from his third album “From The Bottom Of A Well”. Brad was one of the most popular winners in Tamworth last year, as the Australian country music industry enjoys watching his career go from strength to strength. Last year Brad was also honoured at the Queensland Music Awards for Country Song of the Year (Well Dressed Man) and was named by the Country Music Channel (CMC) as one of four artists to watch in 2019.

Brad released his fourth studio album, “Travelling Salesman” in July, which features the lead single “Nature’s Course”. The album, produced by Matt Fell, roared into the ARIA Country Albums chart debuting at #3. “It’s a fourth album with a lot to be proud of”, says music critic Bernard Zuel.

Felicity Urquhart and Brad Butcher play The Edge Hill Tavern on Thursday the 19th of September.
