Cairns band the Taste release their self produced debut 7 track CD “Rain or Sunshine” this Friday the 12th of April at 12 Bar Blue in Cairns. Of the band’s first release, guitarist and founder Mitch Sullivan says “It’s a great feeling to finally have something out there that represents us, and what Cairns sounds like to us”. Formed in 2011,  the band consists of Rachel Brabin (Lead Singer), Mitch Sullivan (Guitarist) and Danny Atkinson (Bass/Vocalist).

The band produced the whole CD themselves. Mitch explains “We did everything ourselves, we are very fortunate that our bass player Danny is a sound engineer, which made things a lot easier”. Mitch says they have a firm eye on the festival circuit and would love to secure some local festival shows over the next 18 months.
