Industry Connect is a workshop series bringing music industry professionals from around Australia to regional Queensland to help anyone interested in building a sustainable career in the music industry.

This installment features QMusic Executive Officer Joel Edmondson, BIGSOUND programmer Maggie Collins and the Cairns based Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) Officer.

Participants also have the opportunity to work with stagecraft/body movement specialist Dr Jordin Steel.

Participants will learn about:

· BIGSOUND Festival, the QMAs and the opportunities these present to further your career

· Processes and approaches for regional artists looking to make a sustainable living in the industry

· Grants, fellowships, crowdfunding and what makes for a competitive submission

· The Stagecraft workshop gives will teach you how to prep for a live show and stand out from the crowd.
