It’s looking to be an epic Resonate at the Grand this Thursday night with 3 touring acts hitting the Resonate stage.

Playing the 8.20 slot is Susan Lily (See Eli Birchalls Interview with Susan). Known across Australia and internationally for “Daisy Jane” and her latest single “Here On The Road” Susan Lily is forging an unforgettable and unique path towards mass appeal from her home base in Adelaide. Her first love is the stage and the bubbly entertainer has been treading the boards as an entertainer way before she started singing her own compositions. Moving to Adelaide in 2013 Susan has been forging relationships with as many aspects of the music she can.
Her stage career began with her foray into standup comedy at the turn of the century. Comedy being a hard mistress, it gave Susan the opportunity to hone her skills with an audience. It taught her that to own a stage was paramount to an engaging and memorable experience. She’s been doing that ever since with tales of her home life in outback NSW, her travels, intertwined amongst her songs.
Last but certainly not least, playing the 9.30 slot this week is the enigmatic Tim Woodz. Tim Woodz plays odd-ball folk songs to likes of Arlo Guthrie, Paul kelly and Greg champion. He tells interesting stories through great melodies and funky rhythms. He plays jazzy acoustic guitar, driving blues harmonica and sings with deep smokey vocals. A quirky entertainer you can’t miss.
