Original live music returns to The Grand Hotel this Saturday night as the heritage listed pub hosts Garageland @ The Grand #1 Featuring: Meat Bikini, Sworf & Benny and the Clones

Garageland is a new monthly original live music night, showcasing the cream of the Cairns underground – set within the walls of the iconic Grand Hotel. It’s been a long time since the venue has hosted original bands and I’m excited to be part of the team bringing the best local acts back to the bar I call my second home. It feels great to be able to expose these bands to potential new fans and the diehards alike. There are so many wicked bands in Cairns at the moment and each gig has a special feeling to it of late.

It’s time to take those chops back into the heart of the CBD and commandeer the city’s ears by force and… liquor… Yeah there’ll be heaps of liquor so it’s an 18+ gig kids.

Free entry, cheap drinks and get down this Saturday from 7pm for a rollicking good time and if you bring your Nanna, I’ll buy her a shandy mate.*
