Melbourne based singer songwriter Jayden Reid returns home to Cairns this Friday 3rd June for one show only at Lilo Wet Bar – Rydges Plaza from 6pm. Alongside a top line of supports, the Cairns bred musician will showcase songs from his latest EP ‘Nowhere To Be’ at a venue he cut his teeth at early in his career.
“I love coming back, everything about this town and these people make a lot of sense to me. You definitely see Cairns in a new light once you separate yourself from it. I’m looking forward to returning to Lilo Bar, I have a lot of history with this venue. They gave me a place to play back when I struggled to get 3 people down to the gig, so I’m forever grateful” said Jayden Reid.
With support from two of Cairns top performing acts; The Montgomery Brothers and Vainz. The free event is sure to attract a big crowd with many punters eager to hear Jayden’s new material in a live setting.
“It’s always good to share the night with some of my great friends, Vainz and The Montgomery Brothers. They are at the top of the scene here in their individual genres, I’m proud of what they are doing. Ryo is one of my oldest friends so it’ll be nice to get back together and have a jam on Friday night. The Montgomery Brothers are playing their own set, and then accompanying me throughout my set straight after. So it’s a huge night for them, they are some of the hardest working guys I know so it’ll definitely be one to remember”.
