Secret Tuesdays

Secret Tuesdays Album Fundraiser

Secret Tuesdays are hosting a huge night of home spun Kuranda entertainment in the gorgeous bush setting of Koah Hall on Saturday 5th March from 6pm til midnight.

Secret Tuesdays (Trish Molloy, Leah Kelly and Odie Gorman) will be bringing their trademark sweet harmonies and quirky folk sound to the event, along with a veritable smorgasbord of local talent.

They have gathered a bunch of brilliant and diverse artists for the night because 1) it’s their turn to host a homegrown event, and 2) because they want to raise a few funds towards their studio album recording.

Sharing the bill are their outrageously talented and giant hearted friends from the Kuranda artist community, including sublime Djabugay | Bulwai roots and reggae band Gudju Gudju, the beating heart of Kuranda song – Willy Brim, ukulele super duo Bosky & Honey (whom recently bowled over the judges of Australia’s got talent!), the stunning harp and voice of Astrid Elika, the always enigmatic and soulful Sizlac DaSourcera, the slide blues and roots of Rev KB, intriguing beats and rhymes from nouveau duo 2Bob, awesome costumes and brilliant burlesque dancing of Sassy Catz, and the transcendent sounds of dj Manipulated Molecule.

There’ll be a bar and home cooked goodness from secret recipes, and space to bush camp on the grounds.

This is bound to be a really special evening of rare talents and warm hearts, so get amongst it, bring your friends and your swags, and join in with the Kuranda community in the magic of music. Koah Hall (on Koah Rd at the tennis courts), 5th March, 6pm til midnight, $5 entry or $10 with camping.
