The Tanks Unplugged – Jordan De La Cruz, Handles, Maggie Slater

The Tanks Unplugged series showcases the best of live and local music from far north Queensland for an uplifting night of raw, home-grown entertainment.

The Unplugged series provides a platform for both established and emerging artists to play in a professional capacity to their local audiences on one of Australia’s most iconic music stages, Tank 5.

The 2018 Unplugged series kicks off in 2018, proudly presenting Jordan De La Cruz, Handles and Maggie Slater.

Debuting at #1 on the iTunes R&B Charts, Jordan De La Cruz’s EP Road to the Valley continues to gain momentum through his inspired use of mood and seamless transitions through multiple genres.

The triple j Unearthed artist tells the story of his origin persevering through sacrifice, dedication and honesty in the debut EP, creating rawness and something truly unique for his audiences.

Local indie pop rockers Handles have evolved into an energetic five piece with a focus on big original tunes and connecting with their audience.

Beginning her music writing career at the age of 13, indie artist Maggie Slater’s compositions demonstrate a maturity well beyond her years.

Currently school captain of St Andrew’s College and completing her final year of high school, Maggie’s sound has been compared to the likes of Missy Higgins and Julia Jacklin.
