Under Where?

In association with Underhouse, this Thurs 5 Feb Mo B us brings you Underwhere.

A selection of juicy musical acts including Bosko & Honey’s unique Prog Uke, Secret Tuesdays feminine sea shanties, Faux Mo’s 90s synth hop, Dave Cooke’s earthy roots, plus In The Element, along with Psychedelic Engine DJ Satoshi, Cairns visual artist Hanza (aka Priscilla Ong) making live art, and wait for It – a sideshow circus act from a couple of Kurandacoots.

Underwhere builds on Bosko & Honey’s popular Underhouse series of house concerts in 2013 and 14, which provided intimate and high quality nights of original and diverse music. The Underhouse series was inspired by Nick Mills’ brilliant breeding ground for the far north alternative arts scene Arthouse.

Underwhere is a new expression of an old Kuranda tradition. In the spirit Loony Poets, Kuranda Verandah, K-Town, Wondermentional, and Kurandacoots, Mo B us (Trish & Zach) aim to please you with a night of music, theatre, art and culture. With the wealth of talent and skill in Kuranda, Underwhere is an outlet for artists to share their (under) wares. Be There.

Underwhere is at the Kuranda Amphitheatre Understage on Thursday 5 Feb, 6-11pm. $10 entry, kids free. Bar open and delicious food available.
