The touring acts gracing the stage at the Edge Hill Tavern have been a great success, Johnny Diesel, Jon Stevens, Uncanny X Men, the Recent Sold out Black Sorrows show and many more. The elephant in the room has been what to do on the Friday nights when there are no touring acts booked?

Well, the forward thinking crew at Edge Hill tavern have undertaken to have live local bands on Friday nights, and the even better news is that there will be a strong focus on original acts. They have a stellar month ahead with the following bands already booked:-

Friday 7th December:- Only Ghosts Remain (Pictured above), Snakeoyl & Forest – Check out Forest’s awesome album Astronauts Anonymous. This gem gets our vote as one of last year’s best local music releases!

Friday 14th December – The Love Handles

Friday 21st December – The Brazilians – Who have recently released their new album – Delta The guys last played at Edge Hill Tavern when they supported the Black Sorrows to a sold out crowd last month.

Friday 28th December – Rebecca Langtree. Robert Cini & Bobby Maguire. Three ridiculously talented individuals!
