Cinnamon Sun are edging ever so close to being an Australian hybrid of Mac Miller and Rex Orange County with their latest single ‘Flame’.
The warped and rounded chill-hop track combines an infectious upbeat groove, smooth jazzy chords and a funky off-beat keys riff that will melt you into a state of sun-soaked bliss.
The powerful lyrical message sung by front man Davy Simony is grounded in self-empowerment and is a call to align our actions with our morals; an anthem of musical medicine that’s needed in our current world.
Flame’ is next in line after four incredibly successful releases this year. Momentum has been building for the Brisbane based group, with two of their singles being premiered on Triple J, over 80,000 streams on Spotify and features in Beat Magazine, Forte, StereoFox, AU Review and Australian Music Scene.
