Kingswood – Redlining It To Cairns

Thanks to their dark and driving take on rock, this exciting new Melbourne outfit have kicked off their year in style – screaming into triple j’s Hottest 100 with 2 song places! Now Kingswood are hitting the road and heading to Far North Queensland for a special one night only show at Tanks Arts Centre on Friday 22nd May.

The band’s recent inclusion in the Hottest 100 signifies consecutive achievements for Kingswood, after 2013’s song ‘Ohio’ entered at #53 in the world’s biggest music poll – and with the release of their critically acclaimed and ARIA-nominated debut album, Microscopic Wars, this last year has been one big, solid journey of musical growth for this exciting Melbourne band.

They’ve also been part of the bill on festivals such as Splendour in the Grass, Queenscliff Music Festival, Groovin The Moo, Big Day Out and Pyramid Rock Festival.
