Another cracker Resonate last week with a full lawn of punters at the Courthouse Hotel soaking up the tropical vibes and original music. The buckets full of ice and beer specials that the Courthouse were selling also seemed very popular!

This Sunday the 21st of August you can catch Blues troubadour GG Davies, sensational songstress Katie Jay, Jeremiah Johnson and Savidas. Savidas made a big impact a few weeks back when they played Resonate and we look forward to having them back. Rumour is that the funkified duo will be releasing a new album soon..

Presented by Pandamonium Records and originally starting in 2003 at the Courthouse Hotel on Thursday nights, and then for several years at the Grand Hotel, Resonate has recently returned to the Cairns Courthouse Hotel with a new Sunday afternoon session format. Resonate has become a local institution with Dan Sultan, Emma Louise, Danny Ross, Steve Towson and many more having all played Resonate early in their careers. Resonate is not an open mic night, and all artists are paid to ensure the best quality original artists are attracted and quality control is maintained.

Resonate kicks off at 3pm every Sunday at Cairns Courthouse Hotel. Entry is free.

Resonate is on rain hail or shine. In the event of bad weather Resonate will be moved inside to the main bar area.
