The first new Resonate at The Cairns Courthouse Hotel was hailed a success by both performers and patrons alike. The main bar at the Courthouse proved to be a cozy and intimate setting with great ambience and sounded fantastic too! Next Sunday the 3rd of July is set be another great afternoons entertainment with 4 more awesome acts.

First up at 2pm is brother and sister duo “Glider Pilots”. The dynamic duo have just released their new E.P “Some Where Out there” and it is indeed an impressive release. Self produced, recorded and mastered, these guys are an act to keep your eye on.

Playing the 3pm set this week is Ray Danes. Ray began his music career under the influence of artists such as Ed Sheeran and Ben Howard, developing his own unique songwriting and vocal style over the past couple of years. Ray just seems to get better and more polished each time we see him at Resonate.

Playing the 4pm set this week is Savidas. This funkadelic duo never fail to bring the funk to Resonate, if haven’t caught them yet, now is your chance to find out why they have become one of the favourites with the Resonate regulars.

GG Davies will be rounding out the day playing the 5pm set this week. Expect a bunch of blues from the wrong side of town. GG seems to always be at the top of the reverberation alternative charts, and has recently released an album called Soul Shine. Check out Mitch Sullivans interview with GG Here.

Resonate kicks off at 2pm every Sunday at Cairns Courthouse Hotel. Entry is free.
