Last weeks Resonate was a cracker with Brassett hounds, Clifford De Silva and Savidas all putting on a great show.

This week from 3pm you can catch Greg Anderson, one of NQs seminal singer songwriters. Former member of The Unknown and Meta4, 2 great NQ Original bands. Greg heads off back to the UK soon so this may be your last chance to catch him.

Playing the 4pm set this week is Cameron Cusack who will be hitting the Resonate stage for the first time. Cam will be playing songs from his new album “Postcards To Marli”. Cameron spends a lot of time travelling the outback performing shows, catch him while he’s in town!

Katie Jay will be playing the 5pm set this week. Look out for an interview with Katie today (Tues) on Irene Barretts Rock N Blues Down under show on 89.1 Cairns FM this afternoon. You can also catch it on Podcast afterwards.

Presented by Pandamonium Records and originally starting in 2003 at the Courthouse Hotel on Thursday nights, and then for several years back and forth between the Grand Hotel and the Courthouse Hotel, Resonate has recently returned to the Grand with a new Sunday afternoon session format. Resonate has become a local institution with Dan Sultan, Emma Louise, Danny Ross, Steve Towson and many more having all played Resonate early in their careers. Resonate is not an open mic night, and all artists are paid to ensure the best quality original artists are attracted and quality control is maintained. Resonate supports a sustainable local music industry.

Resonate kicks off at 3pm every Sunday at the Grand Hotel Cairns. Entry is free.
