Jeremiah Johnson Classical Guitar

Resonate – King Pig, Jeremiah Johnson, Sian Evans

If you are a music lover living in NQ and you haven’t been down to check out Resonate yet, you are doing yourself a great disservice, for shame! This Thursday night Pandamonium Records presents another stellar lineup of the norths best acoustic singer/songwriter acts performing at their best. Resonate also pays all artists performing, so if original musos getting paid and performing with great sound and lighting is the way you want to see the local scene evolve, why not come down and support the grooviest little gig in town every Thursday night?

This week King Pig kick off the night. Coming fresh off their east coast tour, the guys should be well rehearsed and ready to impress. King Pig will be performing in a stripped down duo format with Tim and Phil, who according to Tim are working really well as a duo.

No stranger to Resonate or the festival scene, Jeremiah Johnson will be playing the middle set at Resonate this week. Jeremiah is a wiz on the slide guitar, and whether playing alone or with his trio makes a big sound with his collection of guitars, loopers and effects boxes.

Originally from Cairns and now based in Brisbane, Sian Evans is returning home for a quick visit and show at Resonate on this Thursday ahead of the upcoming release of her new E.P. “How Time Has Treated Thee”. Sian will be returning again at the end of May for a special CD launch show at Resonate. – Read our interview with Sian HERE.
