If you have those post Bluesfest Blues, then what better way to dust them off with some fantastic local original music at Resonate this Sunday afternoon? As per usual there will be 3 fantastic acts playing.
Amazing songstress Rebecca Langtree will be kicking the day off at 3pm with a set of her eclectic originals. Bec just keeps getting better all the time and we can’t wait to hear some recorded product from her!
Benny & The Clones will be playing a duo set at 4pm this week. Born of a mutual love of music, beer, party pies and sausage rolls, The Clones have been playing original music in Tropical North Queensland for the better part of a decade. Accolades include winning the People’s Choice award in the 2008 Douglas Songwriting contest, third prize in the 2015 Port Douglas Street Art and Music Festival competition, airplay on Triple J, and seventh place in the inaugural Port Douglas Muso Hot Dog Eating Contest last year. Check out the film clip for their track “Hold Your Head High” below
Our favourite funksters “Savidas” return to funk up your Sunday afternoon from 5pm this week. Gumpy and Uma reportedly have a new recording in the works and we look forward to hearing that soon..
