“Working Poor” is the first single from the Debut Album to be released recently by Cairns based musician, Adrian Thomas. Adrian is a singer/songwriter from Cairns, he is a youth and community worker at Yarrabah Indigenous Community and works throughout Cairns delivering Music programs to the Under-privileged.

“Working Poor’ was produced by Internationally acclaimed producer Nigel Pegrum (multiple ARIA award winner, Seaman Dan) Ben Hakalitz Drums/Percussion (Yothu Yindi) and Giles Smith on Bass/Lead Guitar (John Williamson) “Working Poor” is a lyrically driven piece highlighted by sweeping melodies and driving guitars delivering a gripping insight into our current social climate and one man’s struggle to make sense of the system.

Adrian will play Yarrabah Band Festival on November 3rd and start a FNQ, WEST QLD and N.T tour from the 13th of November. Heading through Normanton, Cloncurry, Camooweal, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Uluru and back through Mt Isa and Charters Towers finishing in Cairns on the 14th of Dec. Adrian will be visiting schools along the way, running music workshops with young people throughout West QLD and N.T.

Adrian’s music has developed a strong following amongst community radio listeners across Australia.
