Bigfoot Mafia feature in the latest installment of Balcony TV with their track “Iceman”
Bigfoot Mafia is a 3 piece Hard Rock band from Far North Queensland. Blending elements of hard rock, classic rock and grunge to create their own sound. Their high energy stage show has been capturing the attention of audiences and winning them fans wherever they go.
The band started in late 2016, when guitarist, Jason Byrne, responded to an ad from frontman & bass player, Rob Taylor. By February 2017 the boys were playing regular gigs around the area, however, they found themselves unable to find a full time dummer. Despite this, the band found themselves supporting local Alt Rock & Metal bands, Forest and Salacious, on their joint tour; supporting Melbourne hardcore punk rockers, Clowns; winning the Passport To Airlie Beach competition for Far North Queensland, playing the Airlie Beach Music Festival and more, all in their first year as a band.

2018 shows no signs of slowing down, with the band joining internationally acclaimed AC/DC tribute show, Acca/Dacca, back in January for a string of three shows across North Queensland, during which time they recruited Peter Munro as their permanent time keeper on the drums. February saw the band start work on their debut album, Home Sweet Nowhere, due out mid 2018. With all this and more going on, we promise you haven’t heard the last of Bigfoot Mafia.
