Drew Boy has recently released the track “Kick Ons”, which he made with legendary producer Stuart Stuart, whose credits include Sheppard, The Veronicas and Dean Lewis.

“This project has been an extremely fun process… Making the track with “Stuart Stuart” was a realisation that I could explore all sorts of genres of music, showcasing my versatility and not take things too seriously. It’s been a big game changer, not just in the recording or writing process but also live at our shows. I have some really beautiful music recorded with “Jeff Martin” (THE TEA PARTY) coming out later this year which also showcases the polar opposite side of my musical style, this was just a fun side project to put out in the meantime!” 

Drewboy has had a monster year playing quite a number of high energy shows with his super tight band ‘Drewboy & The Sax Addicts’ at such festivals as “Groovin The Moo” – “The Grass Is Greener” & also headlining at the “Commonwealth Games Festival 2018” in Cairns recently just to name a few! 

Drewboy also has his own Suicide Prevention charity called “Kick On!” (unrelated to the music video) and won 2017 CHCCAGG volunteer of the year.

Drewboy plays with his band The Sax Addicts this Friday night at the Woolshed from 8.00pm – 10.00pm
