A Solid lineup at Resonate this Thursday night with 3 great live and unplugged original acts.
First up playing the 7.00pm set is Kian, Kian played Resonate about a month or so ago with his partner Cally as the duo Secret Solice. Kian is playing a solo set of his solo material this time around, but the word from the man is that Cally will be making a guest appearance for vocals on a few songs. Call blew the Resonate crowd away last time with her ethereal vocals and keyboard tinkling.
Sweet K will be playing the 8.20 set this week. The trio fronted by Kelly Moran on vocal duties seem to be building in popularity each Resonate appearance. Kelly first hit the Cairns original music scene back in the 90s with her band “Raven Mad” and played the old Johnos among other venues. Big stompy beats, groovin bass, tasteful guitar, and some great rock chic vocals, check em out.
The always popular Brealyn Sheehan will be playing the coveted 9.30 slot this week at Resonate. Brealyn has been in the studio recently recording an E.P and we here at NQ Music Press are very much looking forward to hearing the fruits of her labour. Word is Brea may be joined by a guest keyboard player this week..
Resonate is staged every Thursday night at the Grand Hotel in Cairns. Kitchen opens at 6.00, Resonate blasts off at 7.00pm, entry is free!
