Ingeniously adapting real irons and ironing boards into electronic instruments this performance is a high energy, captivating explosion of dancing, visuals, wit, humour and steamy hot sounds.
With house inspired tracks built from real world laundry sounds and samples, the Ironing Maidens set bangs like an unbalanced washing machine and you will be dancing your way to a wrinkle free, electro future.
Experimental instrumentalist/beatmaker; Lara Biggs went underground after years of band projects with guitars and mics and now tends to atmospheric trap, cinematic, glitch-futurist lo-fi: organic meets electronic. East meets West by DNA, heart and audio quo. We have heard a whisper Lara will be joined by some special guests for the Tanks show including Sax player extroidinaire Matt Gerdes….
