D.A.A.S Return

Paul McDermott and Tim Ferguson have teamed up with mentor Paul “Flacco” Livingston for a sublime night of songs, sex, violence, feminism (and sex) that revolutionised the world of comedy and made the Doug Anthony Allstars (DAAS) the world’s first and most feared, loathed and adored comedy rock stars. Far North Queensland look out – the Doug Anthony Allstars are coming for you at the Tanks on Friday the 24th of July!

Storming the UK, USA, Europe and Australia in the 80’s and 90’s, the dangerously brilliant DAAS broke the mold by taking comedy into rock venues, playing to huge crowds and becoming the Edinburgh Fringe Festival’s biggest selling act for eight years.

In 2014, DAAS returned to the stage, selling out shows around the country. Now it’s Cairns’ turn to run screaming down memory lane with this long-awaited show featuring Australia’s most controversial comedy export. From remembering their busking beginnings, to setting themselves ablaze in Canberra, to the dizzying heights of London’s West End, DAAS has some incredible stories to tell. Their shows are indoctrinating a whole new generation to the cult of DAAS.

Meet the men who built the legend. Age has only made them angrier.

WARNING: Frequent violence, coarse language, horror, sexual, drug and adult elements. (No Dogs).
