It’s been some time since The ‘Bait have stopped in Cairns but they’ve just announced they’ll be hitting the tropics again this April when they play the The Tanks Arts Centre on the 1st of April 2017.

Spiderbait will perform their third and most celebrated double platinum record Ivy & the Big Apples from start to finish at each and every show around the country.

Ivy & the Big Apples became home to the chart-topping track Buy Me A Pony, which rocketed to the coveted #1 spot in the 1996 triple j Hottest 100, a feat that had never before been achieved by an Australian band.

Then came Calypso, a nation-wide Top Ten which featured on the soundtrack of the cult classic film 10 Things I Hate About You.

Fans can expect all 16 tracks from start to finish including some songs that have never been played live before, plus a few other favourites as well.

Spiderbait’s last two headline tours have completely sold out and this time round tickets are selling faster than inflatable pool swans.
