Jeremiah Johnson features in the latest instalment of Balcony TV with his track “I Gave My Best”
Touring full time and driving an average of 20,000km to promote each album, living full time in a tour bus, visiting regional and urban Australia to promote music to a very personalised fan base. Jeremiah Johnson is one of Australia’s hardest working, full time touring Australian Troubadours. Described as an indelible and lofty acoustic guitar driven songwriter. His admirable qualities are detailed lyric’s, memorable stories and noteworthy guitar playing.
Currently touring “Head Towards The Sun” his fourth studio album which boasts a rich intimate focus on voice and a raft of witty narratives.
There is a rootsy and very grounded bed of music played by himself and the co-producer/ engineer Mark Myers (The Middle East).
A great deal of his song content is extracted from a cross section of Australian demographic’s in its natural and Urban landscape. Songs reeling with character struggle, escape, fact, hope, displacement and recovery.
With accolades including playing for “Prince William of the Royal family” and support act for acclaimed international touring acts Gomez, Donovan Frankenreiter, Harry Manx and Australia’s own Hat Fitz & Cara, Angus and Julia Stone, Jeff Martin (The Tea Party), Neil Murray, The Basics, Skinny Jean Band, Thelma Plum and so on, Jeremiah is a force to be reckoned with.
