The 2015 line-up includes giants of the scene, including perennial favourite, PAUL GRABOWSKY; the MASTERS OF JAZZ, with legends including Bob Barnard, John Morrison & Carol Ralph; exquisite duo MONIQUE DIMATTINA & JAMES SHERLOCK; “new jazz” leaders, THE CATHOLICS; PALIMPSEST featuring Tyrone Noonan from George; the vivacious MONICA TRAPAGA; and Finnish pianist, IIRO RANTALA.

He’s been an international jazz pianist, a TV celebrity, Festival Director, and founder of the Australian Art Orchestra. Now Paul Grabowsky teams up with a who’s who of Australian jazz for a new suite of pieces that has the critics raving. Winner of the 2014 ARIA award for best jazz album, the ‘Bitter Suite’ marks a new direction in ensemble writing for this celebrated musician, featuring alto and tenor saxophones, trombone, bass and drums.

By the time Monica Trapaga became a loveable face on ABC TV’s Play School, she was already a veteran of the glamorous world of jazz, cabaret and swing. Having teamed up with her brother, Ignatius Jones, for the 1940s-inspired show ‘Pardon Me Boys’, Monica has shown that she knows all about entertaining the grown-ups too!
