Friday 7th August the front man for The Cruel Sea & Beasts of Bourbon, Tex returns to Cairns and re-joins the moody groove of The Dark Horses, to play some of the finest tunes your ears will hear in 2015.

Tex Perkins has shown us many faces over the journey. Front man for the evocative soundscapes of The Cruel Sea and the hard edged pub rock of The Beasts of Bourbon, collaborator on the Tex, Don and Charlie outings, and compadre to Tim Rogers on the TnT project and more recently, fronting rock band, The Ape.

Here now, join Tex and fellow Dark Horses – Charlie Owen, Joel Silbersher, Murray Paterson, Stephen Hadley and Gus Agars as they come together for a live set where Perkins’ world-weary growl will showcase songs from the new album, alongside back catalogue gems.
