A five-piece rock band from Sydney, Australia with two acclaimed EPs to their name, and a ton of buzz thanks to blistering sold out Australian & OS tours. The Preatures play the Tanks Arts Centre in Cairns on Friday the 4th of September.

Formed in 2010, their breakthrough single, “Is This How You Feel?” catapulted them to far reaching success – landing them on stages at Glastonbury, Coachella, Bonnaroo and the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. Pitchfork called it “groove based confection that explodes into one of the year’s best choruses”. It clocked in at #9 on triple j’s Hottest 100 poll, won the coveted Vanda & Young Song Writing Competition, and earned them high praise from fans as diverse as Pink, Harry Styles and the late, great Aussie rock icon Doc Neeson (RIP).
