A Music Industry Workshop for Emerging Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander Musicians and Managers, with presenters singer/ songwriters Shellie Morris, Jeremy Marou (Busby Marou) + more on Saturday the 11th of July at the Tanks Arts Centre.
Do you want to play music for a living or for fun and you don’t know where to start? Then this is the music industry workshop for you! 2015’s “Our Band Biz” will be an informal and inspirational series of discussions with music industry professionals Shellie Morris, Jeremy Marou (Busby Marou), Paul Watson (Dubmarine), Will Kepa, and Renee Harris (Event Manager, UMI Arts).
Learn from these experienced music industry panellists as they share their insights into the Australian Music Industry and spend an hour in a mentoring session, discovering your own unique path to a potential career in the music industry.
Our Band Biz is presented by Spotlight, Cultural Services & Tanks Arts Centre.
Entry is free, and places are strictly limited. Young emerging musicians and managers aged 15 – 30 would be well advised to grab hold of this great opportunity post haste!
