It’s ladies night this week at Resonate as three super talented ladies caress your ears with their amazing tunes. Resonate has been going from strength to strength lately, attracting a variety of touring acts and the very best local singer songwriters. If you haven’t made it down yet on a Thursday night, what are you waiting for? Come and find out what all the fuss is about!
Kicking off the night at 7.00pm will be BLCK BIRD featuring Joanne Heming. BLCK BIRD made a big impression on the Resonate crowd at her last gig, make sure you get in early to check out BLCK BIRD’s soulful voice and great original songs.
Playing the middle set this week is Brealyn Sheehan who has become somewhat of a regular on the Resonate stage. Former singer of Cinnamon Sin, Brea has a big bluesy voice that has to be heard to be believed. Brea will be joined by the man in the hat (and possibly safari suit!) Papa Stanley on upright bass.
Playing the 9.30 set this week will be Rebecca Langtree. Punters at the recent Jeff Martin show at Brothers would have seen Rebecca playing the support slot and doing a damn fine job of it!
Resonate kicks off at 7pm every Thursday night at the Grand Hotel in Cairns. Entry is free, kitchen is open from 6.00pm with great meals from $10.
