Resonate settled into it’s new home on the Deck at the Grand Hotel nicely last Sunday. Punters got to enjoy the sound of the Norths best original artists in an outdoor setting with none of the weather or noise level problems that we had at the Courthouse Hotel. The Deck of the Grand is the best Resonate venue yet, and a great atmosphere on Sunday afternoons.
This Sunday the 27th of Aug Bobby Maguire opens up Resonate for the 3pm set. Bobby Maguire recently released his dynamic new single ‘Breathe’ produced which was recorded by Mark Meyers at Big Sister Studio. Written by the ocean and inspired by the likes of the Naked and Famous, Radiohead and Kings of Leon, ’Breathe’ incorporates elements of progressive rock, punk, pop and jazz to form a dynamic composition of pressure, release and resolve.
Check out the film clip to Breathe below.
Machine Machine make their Resonate debut this Sunday when they play the 4pm slot. Machine Machine have been making waves on the local scene and have already gained an impressive following. The boys will be playing an unplugged set as a trio. We look forward to seeing Machine Machine’s Resonate debut this Sunday. Check out their balcony TV clip below for their track “Inspiration”
Playing the 5pm set this week is Jeremiah Johnson. No stranger to Resonate, Jeremiah is always popular with the Resonate crowd. Jeremiah recently returned from an extended tour in the tourbus he purchased with the help of a crowd funding campaign. We look forward to catching up with Jeremiah and hearing his tales from the road, and maybe a new song or two. Check out the clip to Jeremiahs track “Ganesh” below
