Clifford De Silva made a big impact on the Resonate crowd last week at The Grand Hotel, rest assured he will be back!

This week looks set to be another great afternoon of original music with Adrian Thomas playing a solo original set from 3pm.

At 4pm Garington T Jones returns for a set of fantastic guitar and harp. Garington was meant to leave our fair shores last week but someone made him an offer he couldn’t refuse to stay a bit longer so we are taking advantage and getting him back!

Resonate Favourites Savidas return to funk up your Sunday afternoon from 5pm. It’s been quite a while since Savidas played Resonate and we look forward to catching up with Gumpy and Uma.

Presented by Pandamonium Records and originally starting in 2003 at the Courthouse Hotel on Thursday nights, and then for several years back and forth between the Grand Hotel and the Courthouse Hotel, Resonate has recently returned to the Grand with a new Sunday afternoon session format. Resonate has become a local institution with Dan Sultan, Emma Louise, Danny Ross, Steve Towson and many more having all played Resonate early in their careers. Resonate is not an open mic night, and all artists are paid to ensure the best quality original artists are attracted and quality control is maintained. Resonate supports a sustainable local music industry.

Resonate kicks off at 3pm every Sunday at the Grand Hotel Cairns. Entry is free.
