Resonate brings you a wealth of talent again this week with 3 great acts.
Chris Wighton will be kicking the night off at 7.00pm. Chris draws on genuinely original and deeply personal experiences for his songs-the results are soulful and moving. Chris has performed at the Tanks Arts Centre in support of touring artists and has performed three times at the Yungaburra Folk Festival. He recently added a well recieved performance at Woodford Folk Festival to his C. V. It has been several years since Chris has performed at Resonate, we look forward to welcoming him back.
Drewboy and Matty will be playing the 8.20pm slot this week. Rumour has it they may be adding a surprise 3rd member to the lineup this Thursday night. Drewboy and Matty just got back from a headline show at Brisbane Urban Roots, and recently supported Ash Grunwald at the Jack. Check out our interview with Drew this week on NQ Music Press.
Playing the 9.30 set this week is Secret Solis.Secret Solis are a dynamic acoustic/Indie rock band now based in Cairns. Fusing alternative rock, folk, blues, roots and funk with Eastern, Celtic and Classical influences, this exciting new band delivers a captivating and emotive live performance.
