Due to popular request, we will be starting Resonate an hour later at 3pm from this week onwards and going through till 7pm, avoiding the hot sun and staying an hour later for the dinner crowd. Kicking off at 3pm will be Shirley Lynn, followed by award winning Bluesman Andy “Sugarcane” Collins. Taking the stage at 5pm will be dynamic Mission Beach duo “Ju Ju Moon”. Combining awesome musicianship with a dash of humour here and there, Ju Ju Moon are not to be missed. The always popular Eddie Skiba will be playing the new 6pm slot.

Presented by Pandamonium Records and originally starting in 2003 at the Courthouse Hotel on Thursday nights, and then for several years at the Grand Hotel, Resonate has recently returned to the Cairns Courthouse Hotel with a new Sunday afternoon session format. Resonate has become a local institution with Dan Sultan, Emma Louise, Danny Ross, Steve Towson and many more having all played Resonate early in their careers. Resonate is not an open mic night, and all artists are paid to ensure the best quality original artists are attracted and quality control is maintained.

Resonate kicks off at 2pm every Sunday at Cairns Courthouse Hotel. Entry is free.

Resonate is on rain hail or shine. In the event of bad weather Resonate will be moved inside to the main bar area.
