Another great Sunday afternoon at the Grand awaits you this Sunday from 3pm when Resonate kicks off.

The Welsh wonder of the world Steve Williams starts this Sunday’s session off at 3pm. A consummate songwriter with a knack for melody that would make the finn brothers jealous, make sure you don’t miss steve’s set.

Eddie Skiba returns to play the 4pm set this week. Eddie is reportedly preparing for a new recording and some band gigs later in the year, maybe we will get a sneak preview of some new tracks?

Katie Richards made a great impression on the Resonate crowd when she made her Resonate debut a while back, if you missed her last time, don’t make the same mistake twice!

Presented by Pandamonium Records and originally starting in 2003 at the Courthouse Hotel on Thursday nights, and then for several years back and forth between the Grand Hotel and the Courthouse Hotel, Resonate has recently returned to the Grand with a new Sunday afternoon session format. Resonate has become a local institution with Dan Sultan, Emma Louise, Danny Ross, Steve Towson and many more having all played Resonate early in their careers. Resonate is not an open mic night, and all artists are paid to ensure the best quality original artists are attracted and quality control is maintained. Resonate supports a sustainable local music industry.

Resonate kicks off at 3pm every Sunday at the Grand Hotel Cairns. Entry is free.
